About the organization and functioning of agricultural chambers

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Chapter I. General provisions

Article 1. Subject and purpose of the law

(This law establishes 1):

a) purpose and tasks of agricultural chambers;

b) principles of activities of agricultural chambers;

c) functions and powers of agricultural chambers;

d) procedure for organization, organization and functioning of agricultural chambers;

e) regulations on governing bodies of agricultural chambers and their activities;

f) the aspects connected with financing of activities of agricultural chambers.

(2) the Purposes of this law are:

a) ensuring development of the effective and modern agricultural institutional system promoting realization of priorities of development of agricultural industry and the rural zone;

b) creation of the legal base favorable for development and functioning of system of agricultural chambers in the Republic of Moldova in the context of the accession to the European Union;

c) support of development of agricultural community and assistance of integration of new technologies, innovations and the best practices in agricultural processes.

(3) In case of application of provisions of this law any discrimination on signs of race, nationality, ethnic origin, language, religion, beliefs, sex, age, restriction of opportunities, views, political affiliation, property status, social origin or any other criterion is forbidden.

Article 2. Concepts

For the purposes of this law the concepts determined in the Law on subsidizing of agricultural industry and the rural zone No. 71/2023, and also the following concepts are used:
