The legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic on payments in national currency is based on the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic, the constitutional Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic", the Civil code of the Kyrgyz Republic, international treaties which participant is the Kyrgyz Republic, this Law and other regulatory legal acts of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The purpose of this Law is increase in use of national currency of the Kyrgyz Republic - som (further - national currency) when implementing calculations for goods, works and services in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Operation of this Law extends to the physical persons, individual entrepreneurs and legal entities irrespective of form of their property perfroming calculations with use of national currency.
1. Cash and clearing settlements in national currency in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic are perfromed according to the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic taking into account the features established by this Law.
2. In the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic calculations and payments between persons specified in article 3 of this Law according to transactions of purchase and sale of real estate, the personal estate (automotor-transport) which are subject to obligatory state registration of the rights in the state registration body are performed only in national currency. Advertizing of goods, works and services with indication of the prices in foreign currency is forbidden.
