About introduction of amendments to the Resolution of Executive committee of National Bank of Moldova No. 159/2018 "About approval of Regulations about conditions of issue, suspension and withdrawal of quality of the member of Single Central Securities Depository"

Based on the item c) parts (2) Art. 17 and parts (5) Art. 40 of the Law on Single Central Securities Depository No. 234/2016 (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2016, No. 343-346, the Art. 711), with subsequent changes, the Executive committee of National Bank of Moldova DECIDES:

1. In the Regulations about conditions of issue, suspension and withdrawal of quality of the member of Single Central Securities Depository approved by the Resolution of Executive committee of National Bank of Moldova No. 159/2018 (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2018, No. 277-284, to the Art. 1170) registered in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Moldova at No. 1345 of July 19 2018, to make the following changes:

1) in all text of Regulations of the word "Central Depositary" shall be replaced with words "Single central depositary";

Item 1 to state 2) in the following edition:

"1. These Regulations establish conditions of issue, suspension and withdrawal of quality of the member of Single Central Securities Depository (further - Single central depositary)";

Item 2 to state 3) in the following edition:

"2. Participants shall observe provisions of the Law on Single Central Securities Depository No. 234/2016 (further - the Law No. 234/2016), these Regulations, Rules of Single central depositary, and also regulations published by National Bank of Moldova (further - NBM), the National commission on the financial market (further - NKFR) and Single central depositary.";
