About increase in quota of the Republic of Belarus in the International Monetary Fund
Based on paragraph two of part one and paragraph two of part two of article 37 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of July 23, 2008 No. 421-Z "About international treaties of the Republic of Belarus", the paragraph of the sixth of article 21 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of July 23, 2008 No. 424-Z "About Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus", the paragraph of the twentieth of part one of article 52 of the Bank code of the Republic of Belarus the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus and National Bank of the Republic of Belarus DECIDE:
1. Determine that the National Bank and the Ministry of Finance provide implementation of the necessary actions connected with increase in quota of the Republic of Belarus in the International Monetary Fund to 1022, in 3 million special drawing rights (further - SPZ) according to the sixteenth general review of quotas approved by Board of governors of this fund on December 15, 2023 including:
The National Bank directs to increase in quota of the Republic of Belarus in the International Monetary Fund 25 percent of the amount of increase in quota - 85,2 of one million SPZ;
The Ministry of Finance performs release of the bill of exchange in Belarusian rubles in the amount of 75 percent of the amount of increase in quota (in equivalent of 255,6 of one million SPZ).
Are performed by National Bank asset management in the form of line item on reserve tranche of the Republic of Belarus in the International Monetary Fund and its accounting.
2. This resolution becomes effective after its official publication.
