The Russian Federation and the Republic of Moldova which further are referred to as with the Parties

- being guided by regulations of the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Moldova on legal status, procedure and terms of conclusion of the military forming of the Russian Federation which are temporarily in the territory of the Republic of Moldova (further - the Agreement);

- proceeding from need of mutual legal assistance on cases civil, criminal and about administrative offenses;

- in view of need of cooperation between competent authorities of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Moldova;

- wishing to settle the procedure of production of separate legal proceedings;

agreed as follows:

Article 1

Competent authorities of the Russian Federation and competent authorities of the Republic of Moldova give each other legal assistance on cases civil, criminal and about administrative offenses, connected with temporary stay of military Forming of the Russian Federation in the territory of the Republic of Moldova.

For the purposes of this agreement stated below terms mean:

1. "Competent authorities" - from Russian Federatsiivoyenny courts and bodies of military prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation, the servicing military forming, military commandants of garrisons, commanders of military units (as body of inquiry) and other bodies which are in the territory of the Republic of Moldova in which competence there are questions regulated by this agreement;

from the Republic of Moldova - courts, bodies of prosecutor's office, law-enforcement bodies of republican and local subordination and other bodies in which competence there are questions regulated by this agreement.
