About modification and amendments in some resolutions of Board of National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan concerning the minimum reserve requirements

1. Bring in the resolution of Board of National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan of July 2, 2019 No. 118 "About establishment of standard rates of the minimum reserve requirements" (it is registered in the Register of state registration of regulatory legal acts at No. 19012) the following changes and amendments:

"1. During the periods of forming of reserve assets till April 13, 2026 (inclusive) to establish to banks of the second level and branches of nonresident banks of the Republic of Kazakhstan (further – bank) standard rates of the minimum reserve requirements in the amount of:

1) 3,5 (three whole five tenth) percent for the first and second category of obligations of bank in national currency;

2) 3,5 (three whole five tenth) percent for the third category of obligations of bank in national currency;

3) 10 (ten) percent for the first and second category of obligations of bank in foreign currency;

4) 10 (ten) percent for the third category of obligations of bank in foreign currency.";

add with Items 1-1 and 1-2 in the following edition:

"1-1. During the periods of forming of reserve assets from April 14, 2026 to August 31, 2026 (inclusive) to establish to banks standard rates of the minimum reserve requirements in the amount of:

1) 5 (five) percent for the first and second category of obligations of bank in national currency;

2) 3,5 (three whole five tenth) percent for the third category of obligations of bank in national currency;
