About introduction of amendments to article 11 of the Law of Ukraine "About the status of veterans of war, guarantees of their social protection" concerning refining of categories of persons having special merits before the Homeland

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Introduce in article 11 of the Law of Ukraine "About the status of veterans of war, guarantees of their social protection" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1993, No. 45, Art. 425 with the following changes) the following changes:

in word part one "persons who are awarded the order Heroes of People killed during Euromaidan" to exclude;

the second to state part in the following edition:

"Also persons who are awarded the order Heroes of People killed during Euromaidan are considered as persons having special merits before the homeland; person who posthumously gives the rank of the Hero of Ukraine with delivery of the award "Gold Star" For civic courage, patriotism, heroic upholding of the constitutional basic principles of democracy, human rights and freedoms, the dedicated service to the Ukrainian people revealed during the Advantage Revolution; persons which were directly involved in protection of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and which, since 2014, gives the rank the Hero of Ukraine with delivery of the award "Gold Star"; persons who, since 2014, are awarded by the Order of Bohdan Khmelnitsky of three degrees, the award "For Courage" of three degrees, award of the princess Olga of three degrees".

II. Final provisions

1. This Law becomes effective from the date of, its publication following behind day.

2. To the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine within three months from the date of entry into force of this Law:

1) to bring the regulatory legal acts into accord with this Law;

2) to provide reduction by the ministries and other central executive bodies of their regulatory legal acts in compliance with this Law.
