About introduction of amendments to the Law on identification documents of national passport system No. 273/1994 (introduction of passports and travel documents with new codes depending on type of the identification document)

This law partially shifts (parts (2), (2a) and (2b) Articles 1, Article 2, part (2) Article 3 and appendix) Regulations of Council (EU) No. 2252/2004 of December 13, 2004 about standards for remedies and biometric data in the passports and travel documents issued by state members published in the Official magazine of the European Union by L 385 of December 29, 2004, CELEX: 32004R2252, with the subsequent changes made by Regulations of the European parliament and Council (EU) No. 444/2009 of May 28, 2009.

Art. I. - In the Law on identification documents of national passport system No. 273/1994 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 1995, No. 9, of the Art. 89), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:

1. To state formula of harmonization in the following edition:

"This law:

- partially shifts (part (1), subitems (i), (ii), (ii-a), (iii) of Item (a) of part (2) Articles 1, Items (a) - (f) of part (1) and part (2) articles 2, of article 3, of 4, 4a, 4b and appendix) Regulations of Council (EU) No. 1030/2002 of June 13, 2002 about establishment of single sample of the residence permit for citizens of the third countries published in the Official magazine of the European Union by L 157 of June 15, 2002, CELEX: 32002R1030, with the subsequent changes made by Regulations of the European parliament and Council (EU) No. 2017/1954 of October 25, 2017;

- partially shifts (parts (2), (2a) and (2b) Articles 1, Article 2, part (2) Article 3 and appendix) the Regulations of Council (EC) No. 2252/2004 of December 13, 2004 about standards for remedies and biometric data in the passports and travel documents issued by state members published in the Official magazine of the European Union by L 385 of December 29, 2004, CELEX: 32004R2252, with the subsequent changes made by Regulations of the European parliament and Council (EU) No. 444/2009 of May 28, 2009;
