About introduction of amendments to article 2 of the Law on additional social protection of some categories of the population No. 121/2001

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. - In part (1) article 2 of the Law on additional social protection of some categories of the population No. 121/2001 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2001, No. 51, of the Art. 280), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:

in Item 1-1) of figure "1600", "1450" and "1375" to replace with figures "1850", "1700" and "1625" respectively;

in Items 3-1), 5-1) and 10) to replace figures "1000" with figures "1250".

Art. II. - (1) This law becomes effective since August 1, 2025.

(2) to the Government in two-month time from the date of entry into force of this law to bring the regulations into accord with it.

(3) to National cash desk of social insurance to bring the sizes of monthly public welfare payments for categories of persons specified in Items 11), 31), 51) and 10) to part (1) article 2 of the Law on additional social protection of some categories of the population No. 121/2001, into compliance with the sizes established by this law since August 1, 2025.
