About modification of some regulations (the aspects concerning national system of defense)

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. - In the Law on national defense No. 345/2003 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2003, Art. No. 200-203, 775), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:

1. In all text of the law of the word "legislation" and "current legislation" in the corresponding case shall be replaced with words "regulations" in the corresponding case.

2. In Article 2:

add the concept "the armed aggression" with the words "of June 26, 1945 and Resolution of the General Assembly of the United Nations No. 3314/1974 on aggression determination";

state the concept "transaction" of the following edition:

"military operation - the element of armed struggle consisting of number of the fighting, blows and maneuvers coordinated on the purpose, the place, time and tasks, conducted at the same time or consistently large groups of troops of strategic and operational level under single intention for achievement of the strategic or operational objectives on the battlefield on certain strategic or operational directions;";

after the concept "defensive actions" to add with concepts of the following content:

"team action of military nature - the unilateral, obligatory and subject to execution order concerning implementation of specific management functions, the organization and military discipline assuming the right of the President of the Republic of Moldova - the Commander-in-chief of Armed forces, the Minister of Defence, the chief of General staff of defense and commanders of military units to give orders to subordinates concerning management of troops to peace time, in the period of emergency, obsidional or warlike situation, connected with accomplishment of fighting tasks and maintenance of combat readiness, and also with execution of military service according to army regulations;
