About modification of some regulations (adjustment of the regulatory base in the field of safety management of road infrastructure)

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. - In the Law on highways No. 509/1995 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2018, Art. No. 7-17, 32), with subsequent changes to make the following changes:

1. Part (Article 1 to state 5) in the following edition:

"(5) Highways public are subject to registration in the Register of highways public.".

2. In part (2) Article 6 of the word "intensity and traffic safety", shall be replaced with words "intensity of traffic, the recommendation from reports on audit of road safety, on impact assessment on road safety and/or about check of road safety,".

3. In part (2) Article 7 of the word "The law on quality in construction No. 721/1996." shall be replaced with words "The town-planning and construction code.".

4. Part (Article 8 to state 1) in the following edition:

"(1) Highways shall contain in the technical condition meeting the requirements of technical standards, standard rates and regulations including taking into account recommendations from reports on check of road safety, for ensuring traffic in safety conditions.".

5. In Article 9:

part (to state 1) in the following edition:

"(1) Placement of the objects which are not hindering traffic in zone of the highway public and/or its conservation zones is performed according to the legislation and only based on permission to placement of the object in zone of the highway public and/or its conservation zones (further - permission to placement of object) issued by the administrator of the highway at the request of the issuer of the town-planning certificate within the procedure of issue of the town-planning certificate for designing and the construction license according to the Town-planning and construction code.";
