About modification of some regulations (the aspects connected with activities of the Center of strategic communications and counteractions of misinformation)
The Parliament adopts this organic law.
Art. I. - In the Law on the Center of strategic communications and fight against misinformation and on modification of some regulations No. 242/2023 (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2023, Art. No. 318-321, 566) to make the following changes:
1. In the name of the law and in Article 1 of the word of "fight against misinformation" shall be replaced with words "counteractions of misinformation".
2. In Article 2:
in the name of Article of the word of "fight against misinformation" shall be replaced with words "counteractions of misinformation";
part (to state 1) in the following edition:
"(1) the Center of strategic communications and counteraction of misinformation (further - the Center) is administrative authority which functions at the national level as single structure.";
add Article with part (3) the following content:
"(3) the Center submits to the President of the Republic of Moldova.".
3. State Article 3 in the following edition:
"Article 3. Legal basis of activities of the Center
The center performs the activities according to the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova, the Law on homeland security of the Republic of Moldova No. 249/2025, this law, the Strategy of homeland security of the Republic of Moldova approved by the Resolution of Parliament No. 391/2023, other regulations and also according to provisions of international treaties which party is the Republic of Moldova.".
4. In Article 4:
in the concept "strategic communications" of the word "achievements of strategic objectives of authority and state;" shall be replaced with words "ensuring national interests and achievement of the national purposes of safety;";
