Bring in the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About place names in the Kyrgyz Republic" (Sheets of Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, 1997, No. 11, the Art. 534) the following change:

"Article 8. Names are appropriated to geographical objects in the Kyrgyz Republic in state language.
Names of geographical objects are not translated into other languages. In official documents, mass media, cartographic, reference, encyclopedic, educational and other media of the name are transferred with use of transliteration letters of the Russian and Latin alphabets in the procedure established by international standards.".
Bring in the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About advertizing" (Sheets of Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, 1999, No. 4, the Art. 195) the following changes:
In paragraph one of part 3 of Article 5 of the word "and at the discretion of advertisers in addition in languages of the nationalities living in the Kyrgyz Republic" shall be replaced with words 1) "and at the request of advertisers advertizing can extend only in state language";
In paragraph one of part 2 of Article 14 of the word "and also with territorial subdivision on safety of traffic in strip of withdrawal of highways" shall be replaced with words 2) "territorial subdivision on safety of traffic in strip of withdrawal of highways, and also with executive body of local self-government regarding compliance of the text of outdoor advertizing to requirements of the legislation on language and to rules of spelling".
