About implementation of professional activity of the psychologist

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Chapter I. General provisions

Article 1. Subject and field of regulation

This law regulates:

a) principles, organizational conditions, procedure and forms of implementation of professional activity of the psychologist;

b) requirements to persons performing professional activity of the psychologist;

c) basic rights, obligations and responsibility of the psychologist when implementing of professional activity by him;

d) creation, procedure for the organization and functioning of National board of psychologists (further - Board).

Article 2. Scope of application

Operation of this law extends on:

a) citizens of the Republic of Moldova, and also the foreign persons specified in part (1) article 2 of the Law on integration of foreigners in the Republic of Moldova No. 274/2011, who perform professional activity of the psychologist;

b) legal entities irrespective of form of business and type of property, with the location in the Republic of Moldova which perform the activities relating to the field of regulation of this law.

Article 3. Legal basis of activities of the psychologist

Professional activity of the psychologist is performed with observance of provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova, this law and other regulations, and also according to international treaties which party is the Republic of Moldova.

Article 4. Basic principles of implementation of professional activity of the psychologist

When implementing professional activity the psychologist is guided by the following principles:

a) competence and professionalism;

b) responsibility and professional integrity;

c) independence, impartiality and free competition;

d) observance of the rights and fundamental freedoms of the person;
