9-4) provides advance informing and the notification of the population on direct safety hazard based on information obtained from bodies of military management;

9-5) will organize holding evacuation actions in interaction with the central and local executive bodies;

9-6) performs comprehensive preparation and provides permanent readiness of bodies of civil protection for accomplishment of tasks of territorial defense;

9-7) for the purpose of elimination of the situations menacing to homeland security of the Republic of Kazakhstan within the competence established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan adopts regulatory legal acts concerning technical cover of means of communication;

9-8) participates in the actions aimed at the development and promotion of system of military patriotic education;

9-9) performs direct interaction with coordination council on military patriotic education under the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

9-10) participates in forming and realization of state policy in the field of defense industry and the state defense order;
