80-8) organization of carrying out project, prospecting, applied, research and scientific and technical works in the field of studying of underground waters;

80-9) within the competence develops and approves regulatory legal acts regarding studying, accounting, protection and use of underground waters according to main objectives and tasks of the Water code of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
