About creation in the city of Tashkent of technical university "ToshTech"

For the purpose of preparation in the country of the highly qualified personnel having skills of development and deployment of the advanced technical solutions in the field of engineering capable to promote digital transformation of economy, to create innovative products and services, and also I decide ensuring succession and mutual integration of the higher and postgraduate education in this direction:

I. Purpose

1. Determine main objective of adoption of this resolution providing the developing industries with highly qualified engineering personnel by creation of the model highest educational institution conforming to the international educational standards of preparation of engineering personnel.

II. Establishing training for the sphere of engineering on the basis of international standards

2. Take into consideration that between the Ministry of the higher education, science and innovations and the consulting company "Boston consulting group" (further - the BCG company) the agreement on rendering consulting services on creation of new technical university is signed on July 8, 2025.

3. Create Technical university "ToshTech" in the city of Tashkent and approve the main directions it activities according to appendix No. 1*.

4. Determine that:

(a) activities of Technical university "ToshTech" (further - University) are organized in cooperation with the BCG company;

(b) The university is the public highest educational institution and performs activities in system of the Ministry of the higher education, science and innovations;

(c) Independence in the academic, financial and organizational and managerial areas is provided to university;

() power independently is conferred to University to establish acceptance conditions on the directions of formation of bachelor degree and specialties of magistracy;

(e) at University:

(i) since 2025/2026 academic years the one-year preparatory rate (foundation) financed by means of the Government budget takes root;
