About mail service

This Law determines legal, social and economic and organizational basis of activities in the field of rendering services of mail service, and also governs the relations between public authorities and local government bodies, operators of mail service and users of their services.

Article 1. Determination of the main terms

In this Law terms are used in the following value:

subscription box - the box with means for prevention of unauthorized access established in objects of mail service and leased by the addressee for certain term for obtaining on his name of mailings, postal orders, periodic printing editions;

subscriber mailbox - the special box with means for prevention of unauthorized access intended for receipt by addressees of simple mailings, periodic printing editions, messages on receipt of registrirovanny mailings;

subscriber post case - the special case with subscriber mailboxes with means for prevention of unauthorized access established at entrances, lobbies of apartment and administrative houses for receipt by addressees of simple mailings, periodic printing editions, messages on receipt of registrirovanny mailings;

the addressee (receiver) - legal entity or physical person to which the mailing, cable or other message is addressed;

parcel post - the mailing with printing editions, official papers, objects of cultural and community and other appointment, the sizes which weight and procedure for packaging are established according to the legislation of Ukraine;

departmental courier communication as a part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine - acceptance, processing, transportation and delivery (delivery) of the departures containing information which is the state secret and/or office information, to users in system of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine in peace time and the special period;
