About measures for holding the international Biennial of the modern art at the high level

For the purpose of increase in the authority of Uzbekistan on the cultural world map, contributing to social and economic development of the country by providing close connection of the modern art, historical heritage, creative economy and tourism, and also further increase in role and value of the ancient city of Bukhara included in the list of the World heritage of UNESCO and Network of the creative cities, being center of science, architecture, workmanship and art throughout many centuries, I decide:

1. Spend since 2025 once each two years in September - November the International Biennial of the modern art in the city of Bukhara (further - the Biennial).

2. Hold the first Biennial on September 5 - on November 20, 2025 at the high level.

3. Determine main objectives of the Biennial:

(a) support of modern and applied art, workmanship in our country, their integration into global cultural space;

(b) development of education, researches and professional skill in the creative industry, their removal on the international level by the organization of interaction of representatives of our country with creative figures masters, famous in the world;

(c) increase in tourist attractiveness of our country, transformation of objects of cultural heritage into the platform of display of art, forming of interest of their regular repeated visit.

4. Create Organizing committee for preparation and holding the International Biennial of the modern art (further - Organizing committee), and also to approve its structure and the main objectives according to appendices No. No. 1 * and 2*.

5. Determine that the Fund of cultural development and art (further - Fund) is working body of Organizing committee.

6. Determine that within the first Biennial are performed:

(a) transformation of 14 objects of cultural heritage in which the Biennial, is held to the creative cluster covering processes of exhibitions and actions, education and researches, creativity and production;
