About introduction of amendments to some laws of Ukraine concerning questions of education of the military personnel aged from 18 up to 25 years which pass military service under the contract or at the call of during mobilization, for the special period

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Make changes to such laws of Ukraine:

1. In the Law of Ukraine "About social and legal protection of the military personnel and members of their families" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1992, No. 15, Art. 190 with the following changes):

1) in Item 18 of Article 10-1:

to state paragraphs of the first and second in the following edition:

"18. During action of warlike situation by the serviceman, except the military personnel passing basic military service the part of annual main leave lasting no more than 30 calendar days, the additional vacation determined by the Law of Ukraine "About the status of veterans of war, guarantees of their social protection" with the permission of the commander (chief) of military unit, and also family leave and on other reasonable excuses with preserving cash cover lasting no more than 10 calendar days is granted. Each of the specified leaves is provided without time management necessary for journey within Ukraine to the venue of leave and back, but no more than two days one way.

The annual main leave specified in paragraph one of this Item is provided by parts within calendar year provided that its main continuous part will constitute at least 15 calendar days and simultaneous absence no more than 30 percent of total number of the military personnel of the relevant division. Provision of the main continuous part of annual main leave lasting 15 calendar days is obligatory. Such leave can not be granted only at the request of the serviceman";
