About measures for training of engineers of new generation and development of engineering education

For the purpose of implementation of the engineering direction in school education as priority, in this sphere and involvement of skilled teachers to educational process I decide improvement of quality of education:

I. Main objective

1. Determine main objective of this resolution realization of initiative "Uzbekistan - the country of the advanced engineers" by means of development of engineering education, providing:

(a) creation of network of the engineering schools in the country based on preparation of engineering personnel of new generation and close integration of the highest educational organizations with the industry;

(b) forming of competitive environment between the general average educational organizations (further - comprehensive schools) on teaching engineering disciplines at the republican level, and also implementation of incentive system of comprehensive schools.

II. Organization of network of engineering schools and implementation of the program of engineering education

2. Create in system of the Agency of specialized educational institutions (further - the Agency) engineering schools based on the organizations of secondary vocational and professional education which activities stop according to appendix No. 1 *, as a matter of experience New Uzbekistan University and specialized school of Mirzo Ulugbek.

3. Determine that:

(a) from 2026/2027 academic years selection and admittance of students in engineering schools are performed according to the procedure, established for specialized schools of system of the Agency. The number of pupils in one class shall not exceed 24 people, at the same time:

(i) in the first academic year, according to the procedure of exception, acceptance is performed in 7 - the 10th classes, since second academic year - in the 7th class from among graduates of the 6th classes of comprehensive schools;
