At the same time there is need for simplification and simplification of the procedures connected with registration of intellectual property items, for strengthening of measures for effective protection of the rights and protected by the law of interests of owners of intellectual property.
This Law to some legal acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan makes the changes and additions providing simplification of process of state registration of intellectual property items, reducing terms of examination of some intellectual property items, refusal of excessive documents in the course of registration, implementation of additional conveniences in case of payment of patent fees and also strengthening of responsibility for violation of the rights to intellectual property items.
This Law serves enhancement of system of the intellectual property exerting effective impact on economic development and innovative progress of the country, to forming in the society of feeling of respect for the intellectual property rights, and also protection of legitimate interests of owners of intellectual property.
