About modification and the amendments in some legal acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan directed to expansion of the guaranteed opposition rights in parliament

In recent years in our country the consecutive reforms directed to forming of the atmosphere of freedom of expression, strengthening of the legal basis of political pluralism and further strengthening of role of political parties in society are undertaken.
At the same time there is need of further expansion of the powers and the rights provided by the law for fractions of the political parties which declared themselves opposition in Parliament.
This Law makes changes to some laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan providing fraction of the political party which declared itself opposition in Parliament, the additional rights, such as introduction of alternative edition of the bill or its component on appropriate question before consideration of the bill in the second reading, the guaranteed occupation by her representatives of positions of one chairman of committee and two vice-chairmen of committee of Legislative house of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, introduction of questions within "government hour" and parliamentary request quarterly.
This Law will promote increase in efficiency of legislative activities and parliamentary control by expansion of the guaranteed opposition rights in Parliament.
Article 1.
