About emission limitation of greenhouse gases

The purpose of this Law is regulation of the relations in the field of emission limitation of greenhouse gases.
Operation of this Law extends to the relations connected with emission limitation of the greenhouse gases resulting from economic and other activity in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The legislation on emission limitation of greenhouse gases consists of this Law and other acts of the legislation.
If the international treaty of the Republic of Uzbekistan establishes other rules, than those which are stipulated by the legislation the Republic of Uzbekistan about emission limitation of greenhouse gases then are applied rules of the international treaty.
In this Law the following basic concepts are applied:
greenhouse gases - natural or anthropogenous gaseous substances which absorb and pereizluchat infrared radiations and are controlled according to the Parisian agreement: carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), nitrogen oxide (N2O), ozone (O 3), chlorofluorocarbons (HFU), perfluorocarbons (PFU) and sulfur hexafluoride (SF6);
the greenhouse gas inventory - the systematized code of data describing emissions and absorption of greenhouse gases based on official statistical data;
absorption of greenhouse gases - natural process or type of economic and other activity from which result extraction from atmospheric air of greenhouse gases and their accumulating in other components of the environment, natural, natural and anthropogenous and anthropogenous objects;
emissions of greenhouse gases - emissions in atmospheric air of the greenhouse gases formed as a result of natural process or economic and other activity for certain period;
