In recent years in our country system work on ensuring protection of the rights and legitimate interests of citizens, the prevention of offenses, reliable protection of the rights and legitimate interests of consumers, and also on prevention of the diseases caused by deficit of iodine is carried out.
At the same time there is need of toughening of measures of punishment for plunder, failure to carry out of legal requirements of the employee of law-enforcement bodies and the serviceman (employee) of National guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan, creation of additional terms for ensuring consumer protection in the field of trade and taking measures to saturation of the consumer market in iodized salt and the iodated foodstuff.
This Law makes the additions and changes in the Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan about the administrative responsibility providing toughening of measures of punishment for the offenses connected with plunder of energy resources in small size and failure to carry out of legal requirements of the employee of law-enforcement bodies and the serviceman (employee) of National guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Also addition is made to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About consumer protection", establishing the regulations inducing sellers to fulfill timely the agreement obligations of purchase and sale.
Besides, changes are made to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About prevention of iodine-deficiency diseases" who determine that they in the country are made, imported and implemented only the iodated table salt, in production of foodstuff iodized salt is without fail used. Powers of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of establishment of health regulations, regulations and hygienic standard rates on iodination of table salt and foodstuff, and also on turnover of iodized salt are specified.
