About the state defense order

The purpose of this Law is regulation of the relations in the field of the state defense order.
This Law extends to the relations connected with forming, approval, approval and execution of the state defense order in the Republic of Uzbekistan, connected with ensuring defense capability, safety and protection of public order, providing the state secret, safety of persons protected by the state, the prevention and liquidation of emergency situations, maintenance of emergency rule, except for orders for products of dual purpose necessary for ensuring state security and persons protected by the state.
The legislation on the state defense order consists of this Law and other acts of the legislation.
If the international treaty of the Republic of Uzbekistan establishes other rules, than those which are stipulated by the legislation the Republic of Uzbekistan about the state defense order then are applied rules of the international treaty.
In this Law the following basic concepts are applied:
the order - the official data on products of military and dual purpose necessary for ensuring needs of the customers of the state defense order connected with accomplishment of the tasks assigned to them;
the state defense order - the state order on purchase of products of military and dual purpose approved by State commission on arms of Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
