About entering of amendment and changes into the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with further liberalization of criminal liability concerning minors

In recent years in our country the large-scale reforms directed to protection of interests of minors, guaranteeing by the state their rights, freedoms and legitimate interests are performed.
At the same time there is need of further liberalization of criminal liability concerning minors and establishment of special procedure for recognition by not offender of person who served sentence for the crime committed aged up to eighteen years.
This Law makes the addition and changes in the Criminal code of the Republic of Uzbekistan providing recognition by not offender of person who served sentence for the crime which is not especially heavy committed aged up to eighteen years and also reducing the minimum term of restriction of freedom and imprisonment concerning minors from six months to one month.
This Law will serve further liberalization of criminal liability of minors and creation of condition for continuation of life without criminal record brand to person who served sentence for the committed crime aged up to eighteen years.
