About determination of industry regulators in the digital circle
For the purpose of realization of Item 2 of part 2 of article 4 of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About enforcement of the Digital code of the Kyrgyz Republic", article 9 of the Digital code of the Kyrgyz Republic, according to articles 13, of the 17th constitutional Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic" the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic decides:
1. Assign functions and powers of industry regulators in the digital circle to the following state bodies:
1) the Ministry of digital development and innovative technologies of the Kyrgyz Republic - power of the industry regulator of national digital ecosystem;
2) Service on regulation and supervision in communication industry under the Ministry of digital development and innovative technologies of the Kyrgyz Republic - powers of the industry regulator in the field of telecommunications;
3) the State personal data protection agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic - powers of the industry regulator in the field of personal data.
2. To the state bodies specified in Item 1 of this resolution to bring the provisions into accord with regulations of the Digital code of the Kyrgyz Republic and this resolution by introduction of the corresponding projects of regulatory legal acts for consideration of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic.
3. This resolution is subject to official publication and becomes effective since February 5, 2026.
