About introduction of amendments to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About food security of the Kyrgyz Republic"

Article 1.

Bring in the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About food security of the Kyrgyz Republic" (Sheets of Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, 2008, Art. No. 6/2, 647) the following changes:

"Article 1. Basic concepts

In this Law the following terms and determinations are used:

1) food security of the Kyrgyz Republic (further - food security) - state of the economy of the Kyrgyz Republic in case of which food independence of the republic is provided and is guaranteed physical and economic availability of main types of food to the population according to physiological regulations of consumption of food;

2) ensuring food security - development and implementation of economic, organizational and other measures for ensuring physical and economic availability of main products of food to the population at the level of physiological regulations of consumption of food;

3) food crisis - the situation in which providing the population with main products of food according to the minimum regulations of consumption of food is under the threat on all or considerable part of the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic and this threat can be eliminated only using measures of state regulation;

4) emergency food situation - conditions in which providing the population with main products of food in the amounts meeting physiological standards of consumption is under the threat on considerable part of the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic that requires taking measures of state regulation for stabilization of food supply;

5) physiological regulations of consumption of food - the average size of necessary intake of food and biologically active agents providing optimum realization of the fiziologo-biochemical processes fixed in genotype of the person;
