About creation of the American-Uzbek business and investment council

For the purpose of further expansion and strengthening of the mutually beneficial trade and investment and commercial relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the United States of America, and also high-quality improvement of business environment and support of business activity, the organization of effective work in this direction I decide:

1. Take into consideration that during the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on November 4 - 6, 2025 in the USA within the summit of "C5+1" the agreement on creation of the American-Uzbek business and investment council is reached (further - Council) under co-chairmanship of the head of Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from the Uzbek side and the U.S. President's representative in coordination with the American side.

2. Confer to the head of Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan powers according to structure of Council, its regulations and the procedure of activities from the Uzbek side.

3. Determine priority study of the following questions submitted for consideration of Council:

(a) coordination of development and approval of strategic business initiatives, large investment and trade projects, and also permanent monitoring of their realization;

(b) creation of special investment fund for mobilization of additional investments into Uzbekistan, with determination as anchor investors Corporation of the international financial development (DFC) and from the Uzbek side, and also with involvement of large international financial institutions (the EBRD, IFC, ABR) for financing of the major infrastructure and strategic projects and separation of risks;

(c) continuation of negotiations on questions of mutual decrease in the tariff charges;

(d) system promotion of products and services of the companies - residents of the Technological park of software products and information technologies (IT park);

(e) introduction of offers on diversification of investment portfolio of the country, including part of currency holdings of the Central bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan and other assets.
