The Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan which are hereinafter referred to as by the Parties proceeding from desire to develop and strengthen the friendly relations, aiming at adjustment and deepening of integration processes in the field of safety of external borders, understanding crucial importance of professionally prepared military personnel of border troops for reliable protection of external borders of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States,

being guided by Article 1 of the Agreement on cooperation in preparation and advanced training of military personnel for border troops of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States of November 3, 1995, agreed as follows:

Article 1.

The Kazakhstan Side accepts the military personnel of the Border service of the State committee of homeland security of the Kyrgyz Republic on training in Boundary academy of Committee of homeland security of the Republic of Kazakhstan (further - the KNB Boundary academy), at the address: The Republic of Kazakhstan, the city of Almaty, Prospekt Dostyk, 103, in the stipulated quantity within the limit of the number of staff approved by the Chairman of Committee of homeland security of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the funds allocated for maintenance of the KNB Boundary academy on specialties and for terms which are coordinated annually by the Parties. Results of approval are drawn up by contracts.

Article 2.

Authorized bodies of the Parties, actionees of this agreement, are:

from the Kyrgyz Side - the Border service of the State committee of homeland security of the Kyrgyz Republic;

from the Kazakhstan Side - Committee of homeland security of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In case of change of the name or functions of the above-named authorities of the Party will be timely notified through diplomatic channels.
