"Article 16. Prevention of negative impact of pesticides on bees
1. For the purpose of prevention of negative impact of pesticides on bees the events directed to preserving bees according to this Federal Law and the legislation of the Russian Federation in the field of safe handling of pesticides and agrochemicals are held.
2. Persons who planned use of pesticides inform on such application not earlier than before ten calendar days and not later than five calendar days before their application if other is not established by this Article, the physical persons and legal entities performing beekeeping in the territories located at distance to 7 kilometers from borders of lands and the parcels of land for whom use of pesticides is planned.
3. If use of pesticides is performed in connection with establishment of federal, regional or local level of response to emergency situation in case of introduction of emergency mode, the physical persons and legal entities performing beekeeping in the territories located at distance to 7 kilometers from borders of lands and the parcels of land for whom use of pesticides is planned are informed on use of pesticides not later than 24 hours before such application by persons who planned use of pesticides.
4. Informing on use of pesticides is performed through mass media, and also by placement in the Federal state information system of traceability of pesticides and agrochemicals of information specified in part 5 of this Article.
