Article 1

Bring in the Federal Law of May 1, 1999 No. 94-FZ "About protection of Lake Baikal" (The Russian Federation Code, 1999, No. 18, Art. 2220; 2006, No. 50, Art. 5279; No. 52, Art. 5498; 2007, No. 45, Art. 5417; 2009, No. 1, Art. 17; 2011, No. 30, Art. 4563; 2014, No. 26, Art. 3387; 2020, No. 31, Art. 5013; 2021, No. 24, Art. 4207; 2022, No. 1, Art. 14; No. 18, Art. 3010; 2024, No. 33, Art. 4957) following changes:

1) in the paragraph the second Item 2 of Article 2 of the word "and also" to exclude, add with words ", and other territories and which border is determined according to article 3 of this Federal Law";

2) in Article 6:

a) state Item 2 in the following edition:

"2. In the Baikal natural territory the construction, reconstruction of capital construction projects without conducting the state environmental assessment of the project documentation of such objects are prohibited if other is not provided by the Federal Law of November 23, 1995 No. 174-FZ "About environmental assessment".";

b) add with item 4 of the following content:

"4. In the territories of the special economic zones located in borders of the central ecological area creation of the objects which are residences of physical persons is not allowed. Creation in borders of the central ecological area of new special economic zones is not allowed.";
