About measures for creation of management system for rapid response to requirements of the population in spheres of ecology and tourism
For the purpose of the operational and high-quality organization on the basis of new approaches of certain tasks in spheres of ecology, environmental protection and tourism, and also enhancement of system of public administration and control in this direction I decide:
1. Form:
(a) Committee on tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan by reorganization of Committee on tourism under the Ministry of ecology, environmental protection and climate change;
(b) National committee on ecology and climate change (further - Committee on ecology) based on the Ministry of ecology, environmental protection and climate change by its removal from system of the Cabinet of Ministers with preserving the operating established posts.
2. Determine that:
(a) The committee on ecology is authorized body on implementation of single state policy and control in spheres of stable maintenance of favorable ecological situation, environmental protection, implementation of the National project "Yashil Macon", increase in the woods, mitigation of the consequences of global climate change and fight against desertification;
(b) in the Organizational structure of Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan the Division of the adviser to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for environmental issues consisting of 2 established posts is created;
(c) The agency on afforestation and increase in green zones, fight against desertification, the Agency of hydrometeorological service, and also Agency on waste management and development of circular economy continue the activities under Committee on ecology.
3. Determine that the Committee on ecology along with the main objectives of the Ministry of ecology, environmental protections and climate changes according to appendix No. 1 * is responsible for implementation of the following national projects:
