About modification of some regulations (reduction in compliance of provisions of compulsory medical insurance)

Based on part (5) Articles 5, parts (4) Article 6-1 and part (2) article 7 of the Law No. 1585/1998 on compulsory medical insurance (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 1998, Art. No. 38-39, 280), with subsequent changes, DECIDES: the Government

1. In the Regulations on provision/suspension of the status of insured person in system of compulsory medical insurance approved by the Order of the Government No. 1246/2018 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2018, No. 512, of the Art. 1342), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:

1.1. 3, 4 and 5 to state Items in the following edition:

"3. The national company of medical insurance (further - NKMS) records the physical persons included in the compulsory health insurance system and registered in the Information system "Compulsory medical insurance" (further - IS compulsory health insurance), based on information provided by authorized institutions including through government platform of interoperability (MConnect).

4. The insurance number is assigned to the physical person registered in IS compulsory health insurance. Accounting of the insured/uninsured persons registered in IS compulsory health insurance is performed based on the state identification number of physical person (IDNP) or series and number of the valid identification document of national passport system - in case of persons which do not have IDNP.

5. The status of insured person is checked by request in IS compulsory health insurance, access to which is provided on the HKMC (www.cnam.md) official website, in the Services module, the Section "Verification of the Status of AOAM", and also on the Integrated government portal EVO.";
