Standard regulations on the social hostel for persons who need social protection

General part

1. This Provision establishes procedure for provision of housing rooms in the social hostel for persons who need social protection (further - the hostel), uses of such hostel and its content.

2. The housing room in the hostel (further - the housing room) is provided to the citizen of Ukraine and members of his family for the period of stay on social room accounting provided that such housing is the single place of residence of marked-out persons.

3. The hostel is created by local government bodies and is in utility property of territorial communities of villages, settlements and cities.

4. The hostel cannot be located in the basement and first floor, and also in rooms of the apartment houses intended for permanent residence.

5. The house in which the hostel is located and procedure for its content shall meet the architectural and planning and technical regulations and the sanitary and hygienic requirements established by regulations for such housing to be suitable for accommodation and to be used only for designated purpose. Content of hostels is performed according to rules of content of apartment houses and the house adjoining territories.

6. To destination hostels can be two types:

for accommodation of lonely persons (housing rooms are used by several persons who are not in the family relations);
