Being guided by the principle of humanity, according to article 92 of the Constitution of Ukraine, provisions of the Criminal code of Ukraine and the Law of Ukraine "About application of amnesty in Ukraine" the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

Article 1. Exempt from custodial sanction for certain term and from other punishments which are not connected with imprisonment, persons condemned for intentional crimes for which the law prescribes punishment less severe, than imprisonment for the term of no more than five years, and for the crimes committed on imprudence for which the law prescribes punishment less severe, than imprisonment for the term of no more than ten years:

a) persons who at the time of crime execution were minors;

b) persons which are not deprived of the parent rights which on the date of entry into force of this Law have children to whom 18 years, or handicapped children irrespective of their age were not performed;

c) women, pregnant women on the date of entry into force of this Law;

d) the men and women, on the date of entry into force of this Law who reached according to 60-year-old and 55-year age;

?) persons who on the date of entry into force of this Law have one or both parents who reached 70-year age or recognized as disabled people of the first group provided that these parents have no other able-bodied children;

e) veterans of war (combatants, disabled veterans and participants of war who fall under operation of the Law of Ukraine "About the status of veterans of war, guarantees of their social protection");

e) persons who put on entries into force of this Law in accordance with the established procedure are recognized as disabled people of the first, second or third group;
