1. Approve the enclosed Rules of denaturation of methanol and metanolsoderzhashchy liquids.

2. This resolution becomes effective since March 1, 2026 and is effective till March 1, 2032.

Rules of denaturation of methanol and metanolsoderzhashchy liquids

1. These rules establish requirements to denaturation of methanol and metanolsoderzhashchy liquids, procedure for denaturation, and also cases in case of which the denaturation is not obligatory.

2. Methanol and metanolsoderzhashchy liquids are denatured by the organizations and individual entrepreneurs, information on whom is included in the Register of the organizations and individual entrepreneurs performing turnover of methanol and metanolsoderzhashchy liquids which forming and maintaining are provided by part 1 of article 3 of the Federal law "About State Regulation of Turnover of Methanol and Metanolsoderzhashchy Liquids" (further - the organizations and individual entrepreneurs).

3. Methanol and metanolsoderzhashchy liquids are denatured in case of condition of keeping in them one of the following denaturant substances or their mixes at the choice of the organization or the individual entrepreneur:

a) денатониум benzoate (битрекс) in concentration is at least 0,015 of percent of mass of methanol and metanolsoderzhashchy liquids;

b) ethane thiol in concentration is at least 0,1 of percent of mass of methanol and metanolsoderzhashchy liquids;
