About modification of the Scheme of regional government assistance for the investments realized in the Republic of Moldova approved by the Order of the Government No. 875/2024

The government DECIDES:

1. In the Scheme of regional government assistance for the investments realized in the Republic of Moldova approved by the Order of the Government No. 875/2024 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2024, Art. No. 548-551, 1001), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:

1.1. in all text of the word "agreement on provision of regional government assistance" shall be replaced with words "the act of provision of regional government assistance";

1.2. in Item 1 the second offer to exclude;

1.3. state Item 7 in the following edition:

"7. The government assistance is provided by signing of the act of provision of regional government assistance provided in subitem 2. 3, after accomplishment of the conditions established by the Scheme.";

1.4. state Items 9 and 10 in the following edition:

"9. Payment of government assistance is performed till December 31, 2036 on condition of observance of provisions of the Scheme.

10. The total estimative amount of the government assistance provided within the Scheme (the budget of the Scheme) constitutes 2,0 of one billion lei (about 100 million euros) from which 1,5 of one billion lei - partial exemption of tax on the income and 0,5 of one billion lei - grant. The government assistance provided according to each investment project consists of grant and partial exemption of tax on the income which share constitutes 25% and 75%, respectively.";

1.5. add with Items 10-1 and 10-2 of the following content:

"10-1. The total estimative quantity of the companies beneficiaries of government assistance within the Scheme makes about 150.

10-2. The maximum size of the government assistance provided within the project shall not exceed 20% of the budget of the Scheme determined in Item 10.";

1.6. in Item 17 subitems 17.9 and 17.10 to recognize invalid;

1.7. declare Item 18-1 invalid:
