About modification of some regulations (updating of the regulatory base concerning State Labour Inspection)

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. - In the Law on State Labour Inspection No. 140/2001 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2001, Art. No. 68-71, 505), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:

1. In Article 1:

part (to state 2) in the following edition:

"(2) the State Labour Inspection exercises the state control of observance of provisions of regulations in the field of work, health protection and labor safety by all companies, organizations and the organizations irrespective of type of property and form of business, the employers hiring workers and also bodies of the central and local public authority. The specified control is carried out in any place in which activities are performed or concerning which there are reasonable suspicions of its implementation.";

2. Add Chapter I with Articles 1-1 and 2-1 of the following content:

"Article 1-1. Concepts

In all text of the law of the concept "worker" and "employer" are used in values, the stipulated in Article 1 Law on health protection and labor safety No. 186/2008.";

"Article 2-1. Basic principles of activities of State Labour Inspection

The State Labour Inspection in the activities is guided by the following basic principles:

a) impartiality, objectivity, the equal relation and non-admission of discrimination when implementing functions;

b) efficiency and quality of provision of services;

c) participation of the most representative trade-union organizations and organizations of employers in monitoring of the control system of observance of provisions of regulations in the field of work, health protection and labor safety;

d) the organization and implementation of activities with respect for criterion of predictability and team work.".

3. Article 4-8-1 to state in the following edition:

"Article 4. Functions of State Labour Inspection
