About the organization and holding public actions

Chapter I. General provisions

Article 1. Purpose and subject of regulation

(1) the Purpose of this law is providing the accurate, approved and predictable regulatory base on the organization and holding public actions for the purpose of:

a) guaranteeing basic rights and human freedoms;

b) prevention and decrease in the risks capable to affect public order and safety, life and health of participants;

c) assistance to creation of the atmosphere of safety and responsibility in public or open for access in the course of the organization and holding public actions.

(This law regulates 2):

a) procedures of the notification and issue of permission to holding public actions;

b) security measures and according to the prevention of risks when holding public actions;

c) obligations of organizers, participants and bodies of the public power in the course of the organization and holding public actions;

d) mechanisms of the prevention of illegal acts and fight against them within the public actions.

Article 2. Law scope

(1) This law is applied to the following categories of public actions:

a) cultural and art actions;

b) sports competitions and sports;

c) the religious meetings in the form of making of church services held in other places than places of departure of cult, or other traditional actions;

d) entertaining actions;

e) commercial and exhibition actions.

(2) This law is applied also to the public actions organized in private rooms with public access.

(3) This law is not applied in the following cases:

a) the meetings regulated by the Law on meetings No. 26/2008;

b) the private events held in the public or private completely leased places intended for family actions (wedding, baptisms, anniversaries and other similar actions), within the permitted capacity of the respective room;
