About establishment of the size of minimum wage over the country for 2026

Based on article 3 of the Law No. 1432/2000 on procedure for establishment and review of minimum wage (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2001, Art. No. 21-24, 79), with subsequent changes, DECIDES: the Government

1. Establish since January 1, 2026 minimum wage over the country in the amount of 6 300 lei a month at the complete duration of working hours of 169 hours (on average in month) that constitutes leu 37,28 in hour.

If according to the law duration of working hours constitutes less than 40 hours a week, the hour minimum wage is estimated proceeding from ratio of the minimum monthly salary provided in this Item and average monthly number of hours of working hours according to the approved operating mode.

2. This resolution becomes effective since January 1, 2026.
