About introduction of amendments to the Criminal code of the Republic of Armenia

Article 1. State article 462 of the Criminal code of the Republic of Armenia of May 5, 2021 in the following edition:

"Article 462. Evasion from training sessions

1. Evasion of the citizen called on the announced training session, from training session, shown in the form of violation of obligation to be in military commissariat in the place of its accounting for the purpose of participation in training session or in the form of not passing of inspection and medical examination of the state of health established by the law or refusal of participation in training session, or evasion from participation in training session otherwise, in case of lack of the bases established by the law, which are not subject to challenge on training session -

it is punished by penalty in the amount of fifteen to the thirtyfold size of minimum wage, or imprisonment for a period of up to two months, or imprisonment for a period of one up to three years.

2. The action provided by part of 1 this Article which was made:

1) by causing to bodily harms or malingering, or

2) the counterfeit of the document or different way of deception is punished by imprisonment for a period of two up to five years.

3. Person who committed the crime provided by parts 1 or 2 of this Article is exempted from criminal liability if voluntarily was on training session and was attracted to it.".

Article 2. This law becomes effective for the tenth day after day of official publication.
