About state cooperation - members of the Commonwealth of Independent States in development of industries of heavy engineering

The governments of the State Parties of this agreement which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties

based on provisions of the Agreement on general terms and the mechanism of support of development of production cooperation of the companies and industries of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States of December 23, 1993,

proceeding from provisions of the Concept of further development of the Commonwealth of Independent States of December 18, 2020,

developing provisions of the Agreement on cooperation in the field of the industry and creation of Council for industrial policy of the State Parties of the CIS of May 30, 2012,

aiming to provide favorable conditions for development of industries of heavy engineering and mutually beneficial cooperation of the companies of the heavy industry of the State Parties of this agreement,

for the purpose of stimulation of effective interaction of industrial enterprises of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States in development of industries of heavy engineering on the basis of implementation of modern high technologies and innovations,

in view of importance of ensuring domestic market and mutually advantageous promotion on the markets of the third countries of products of industries of heavy engineering of the State Parties of this agreement,

being guided by the international obligations and the legislation of the State Parties of this agreement,

aiming at consecutive implementation of this agreement,

agreed as follows:

Article 1.

For the purposes of this agreement the following terms are used:

heavy engineering - set of industries of the State Party of this agreement which companies perform development and production of machines, the machinery and equipment for the metallurgical, mining, energy, oil and gas and chemical industry, and also production of large-size metalwork and products;
