For the purpose of ensuring safe transportation of radioactive materials and harmonization of the legislation with the international precepts of law and standards in the field of radiation safety, according to articles 13, of the 17th constitutional Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic" the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic decides:

1. Approve Requirements for safe transportation of radioactive materials, substances and sources of ionizing radiation according to appendix.

2. Determine the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of emergency situations of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of natural resources, ecology and technical supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic the authorized state bodies responsible for implementation of this resolution.

3. Execution of this resolution is assigned to responsible authorized state bodies within the means provided in the republican budget for the corresponding year and the next years.

4. This resolution becomes effective after ten days from the date of official publication.
