About modification and amendments in some legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan concerning support and development of the creative industries

Article 1. Make changes and additions to the following legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan:

1. In the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan of December 15, 2006 "About culture":

1) in Article 1:

state subitems 2-1), 2-2), 2-3), 2-4), 2-5), 2-6) and 2-7) in the following edition:

"2-1) creative industries - the industries on creation, production, reproduction and mass distribution of results of creative activities of physical persons or legal entities;

2-2) worker of the creative industries - physical person which professional activity is connected with preserving, development, distribution, use of results of creative activities;

2-3) register of subjects of the creative industries - the online platform for registration and accounting of subjects of the creative industries administered by authorized body for the purpose of effective rendering measures of the state support in the field of the creative industries;

2-4) subject of the creative industries - the physical person or legal entity participating in creative activities, performing creation, production, reproduction, mass distribution of results of creative activities;

2-5) creative activities - the types of economic activity connected with commercialization of results of creative activities;

2-6) summary electronic catalog of libraries of Kazakhstan - the electronic information resource containing bibliographic data on funds of libraries of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

2-7) archive of seal of the Republic of Kazakhstan (further - archive of seal) - set of the printed materials which are in fund of National state book chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan;";

add with subitems 2-8), 2-9) and 2-10) of the following content:

"2-8) non-material cultural heritage of the Republic of Kazakhstan - customs, forms of representation and expression, knowledge and skills, and also the related tools, objects transferred from generation to generation and which are non-material cultural value;
