About introduction of amendments to the laws of the Azerbaijan Republic "About courts and judges" and "About judicial and legal council"
Millie Majlis of the Azerbaijan Republic, being guided by Item 5 of part I of article 94 of the Constitution of the Azerbaijan Republic, decides:
Article 1. In the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "About courts and judges" (The collection of the legislation of the Azerbaijan Republic, 1997, No. 5, Article 413 (volume I); 2024, No. 5 (book I), article 486, No. 12 (book II), Article 1329; 2025, No. 6, Article 529) to make the following changes:
1.1. To exclude the second part of Article 90 and the third part of Article 92.
1.2. Add with Article 92-1 of the following content:
"Article 92-1. Office card of the judge
The office card which sample affirms Judicial and legal council is issued to the judge. The Chairman of Judicial and legal council hands to the judge office card. The office card of the judge is the document confirming its status and position.
The judge uses office card during the term of the powers. In case of change of surname, name, middle name, judgeship or expiration of office card, and also in case of loss or unfitness of office card, the new office card is issued to it.
In case of the termination of powers of the judge the office card returns to Judicial and legal council".
Article 2. Article 11.0.10-1 of the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "About judicial and legal council" (The collection of the legislation of the Azerbaijan Republic, 2005, No. 1, Article 8 (volume I); 2024, No. 12 (book II), Article 1329; 2025, No. 4 (the book I), Article 308) to state in the following edition:
"11.0.10-1. approves sample of the official ID of the judge".
