About social adaptation of persons serving sentence in the form of restriction of freedom or imprisonment for certain term
This Law determines conditions and procedure for rendering the public assistance to persons serving sentence in the form of restriction of freedom or imprisonment for certain term and also bases of participation in their social adaptation of executive bodies and local government bodies, companies, organizations, organizations and associations of citizens.
In this Law the stated below concepts are used in the following value:
the exempted persons are the persons who served sentence in the form of restriction of freedom or imprisonment for certain term, and also exempted from further serving of the specified types of punishments due to illness, based on the Law of Ukraine on amnesty or the act of pardon, conditionally ahead of schedule exempted from serving sentence which replaces unexpired part of punishment to softer, the expectant mothers and women having children under three years exempted from serving sentence;
social adaptation - complex of the legal, economic, organizational, social and psychological and other measures performed concerning the exempted persons for the purpose of adaptation to conditions of social environment, protection of their rights and legitimate interests;
social patronage - package of measures of the state support and help to the exempted persons, performed for the purpose of assistance to these persons in employment, professional reorientation and retraining, creation of proper domestic conditions, preventions of influence on them of criminogenic factors.
