About additional measures for reducing loss of water in case of irrigation and to the prevention of lack of water

For the purpose of providing in the republic of rational and effective use of the available water resources, I decide preventions of loss of water, and also mitigation of negative effects of lack of water:

I. Purposes

1. Determine the main target indicators of adoption of this resolution:

(a) reconstruction and concreting of channels in system of the Ministry of water economy 389 km long with the high level of loss of water. At the same time:

(i) economy on average 206 million cubic meters of water resources and 26 million kilowatt hours of the electric power a year;

(ii) to improvement of water supply on 158,4 of one thousand hectares of the irrigated lands;

(b) taking measures to rational use of water resources in the conditions of lack of water.

II. Financial resources

2. Approve the offer of the Ministry of Economics and finance, the Ministries of water economy about assignment in the amount of 600 billion sum at the expense of the exceeded part of the forecast of the income of the republican budget following the results of 1 quarter 2026 on additional measures for rational use of water resources and the prevention of the lack of water expected in the current year.

3. Determine that in the current year at the expense of means, the stipulated in Item 2 presents of the resolution:

(a) 480 billion sum go for works on concreting of channels and irrigating networks;

(b) 120 billion sum go to the measures connected with the prevention of lack of water.

III. Organization, providing and control of execution of the resolution

4. To the ministry of water economy together with Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and khokimiyats of areas, the Ministry of Economics and finance in week time to introduce to the Cabinet of Ministers the draft of the order of the Government on approval:
