About entering of amendments into the Law "About Prevention of Spousal and Domestic Violence and Protection of Persons Which Underwent to Spousal and Domestic Violence"

Accepted by National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on November 13, 2025

Article 1. Article 7 of the Law of December 13, 2017 No. ZR-320 "About prevention of spousal and domestic violence and protection of persons which underwent to spousal and domestic violence" (further - the Law) to add with part 11.2 following of content:

"11.2. Person which applied violence shall carry the means of electronic surveillance used for ensuring accomplishment of the decision on urgent intervention. evasion or failure of the face which applied violence from carrying means of electronic surveillance attracts the responsibility provided by the law.".

Article 2. To add article 8 of the law with part 9.2 following of content:

"9.2. Person who committed violence shall carry the means of electronic surveillance used for ensuring execution of the protective decision. evasion or failure of the face which committed violence from carrying means of electronic surveillance attracts the responsibility provided by the law.".

Article 3. This law becomes effective since March 1, 2026.
